Meet Our New Editor-in-Chief

We are honored to have Adena Potok assume the position of Editor-in-Chief for the Philadelphia Jewish Voice. She is assuming this role effective immediately. Submissions and letters to editor to be considered for the upcoming December 2005 issue should be sent to her at editor @ pjvoice.com by mid-November.

Adena, the widow of the late Jewish novelist Chaim Potok, is a distinguished writer and speaker in her own right. She has served on the board of the Philadelphia Jewish Voice, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and Jewish Family Services.

We would like to thank Neil Greenberg greenberg @ pjvoice.com for his service as editor up to this point. His work was instrumental in getting the Philadelphia Jewish Voice in only a few months from a concept to its current place in the Philadelphia Jewish community with around 500 subscribers and 7000 visitors per month. While Neil's professional responsibilities have prevented him from continuing as editor, we look forward to read his political analysis as he continues in the role of contributing writer.

We would also like to thank our Media Watch Editor, Alan Tuttlealantuttle@pjvoice.com; Food Editor, Lisa Tuttle food @ pjvoice.com; and Vice-President, Charles Smolover media @ pjvoice.com for helping out Neil and Dan with the editing of the last few issues. It may take a village to raise a child, but it takes an editorial board to layout a newspaper.
